Andy Cohen has spoken! The King of Bravo has officially weighed in on the Summer House love triangle drama surrounding West Wilson, Amanda Batula, and Ciara Miller.
During the latest episode of SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Liveradio show on April 1, Andy admitted, “I will say that I saw a lot of conspiracy theories online yesterday that I somehow knew about this.” He then debunked the theories, adding, “I did not. I really feel for Ciara.”
Referring to Amanda and West’s bombshell joint statement (kind of) confirming their relationship status, Andy said, “I was surprised by the statement. I was surprised by what it said.”
His co-host, John Hill, then quipped, “Or what it didn’t say,” as West and Amanda didn’t even mention or issue an apology to their exes, Ciara and Kyle Cooke.
“We’ve seen the growing online speculation, so while this is still very new, we wanted to provide some clarity. It was never our intention to purposefully hide anything. Given the complicated relationship dynamics involved and the scrutiny that comes with being on a reality show, we needed a little space to process things privately before speaking on it,” West and Amanda wrote in their announcement, which they shared to their Instagram Stories on March 31.
They added, in part, “What’s developed recently was the last thing either of us expected. Our connection grew out of a genuine, long-standing friendship, which made it especially important for us to approach this with care.”
While they didn’t explicitly name Kyle or Ciara, they acknowledged how they might feel in light of the news, adding, “As our feelings evolved, we wanted to take time to understand exactly what we were feeling. We also recognize that this has had an impact beyond just us and never wanted our actions to cause any hurt or be perceived as careless.”
As for the upcoming Summer House season 10 reunion, Andy added, “I have so many questions and the reunion is coming up and, boy, do I have a lot of questions.”
